It is worth pointing out that Critical Strike can technically improve your DPS - but in PvP, Critical Strike damage is actually reduced significantly.

In Patch 9.2, we will have more Haste pieces than usual because of the stats on our Tier Items. You will want anywhere from 15%+ Haste optimally. That being said, you still do want to stack it to 6 stacks as soon as possible, it's just easier since it procs from Apocalypse paired with Necromancer's Bargain, Convocation of the Dead, and sometimes Army of the Damned. Since the PvP talent Necrotic Wounds does not stack infinitely, stacking Haste is not as important as it was when Necrotic Strike existed. Before, you would want a lot more Haste than Mastery in order to spam use Necrotic Strike. With the removal of Necrotic Strike, you don't need as much Haste anymore. Because of this, a mix of Versatility/Mastery and Haste/Versatility pieces is recommended. In Shadowlands, Unholy's Mastery received a huge buff. Regarding the 4 set, 10% extra damage is nice but not earth shattering and not a compelling enough reason for dropping bargain. This guy is steering you up the wrong path by insinuating that you want to drop it for the 4 piece for the additional pets or just flat out saying it's not worth it.that's a real outlier of an opinion and certainly not consistent with any of the builds you see from any of the top uh dks (look up and go to leaderboards - it's great for seeing what builds the top players are running). Bargain gives you the sustain pressure you want with the reduced apoc and crypt fever, it's pretty much the locked in talent with necrotic wounds for that reason.
